fue escrita en Nueva York a finales de la d\u00e9cada de 1930 por el compositor y guitarrista puertorrique\u00f1o <a href=\"https:\/\/prpop.org\/biografias\/titi-amadeo\/\">Alberto &lsquo;Tit\u00ed&rsquo; Amadeo<\/a>. La historia est\u00e1 basada en una an\u00e9cdota personal ocurrida al autor en un pueblo de Puerto Rico que por poco termina en un hecho de sangre.<\/span> <\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"style-scope ytd-expander\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">El compositor, que por esa \u00e9poca era un hombre maduro, estaba casado y ten\u00eda hijos, se enamor\u00f3 de una bella mujer varios a\u00f1os menor que \u00e9l, que estaba casada con un marinero de los Estados Unidos. El romance qued\u00f3 al descubierto cuando el marido de la joven, al volver de una misi\u00f3n de la armada, pill\u00f3 a los amantes en el lecho matrimonial. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"style-scope ytd-expander\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><span class=\"style-scope yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">Por supuesto el esc\u00e1ndalo se desat\u00f3 y el compositor tuvo que huir y refugiarse en Nueva York donde escribi\u00f3 este famoso tema.
